Robert Lanham

Neal Pollack says:
"[Robert Lanham] is the Margaret Mead of the North American Weirdo."
Robert Lanham: The Author
Robert Lanham is the author of the beach towel classic The Emerald Beach Trilogy (Pre-Coitus, Coitus, and Aftermath). More recent works include Food Court Druids, Cherohonkees and Other Creatures Unique to the Republic and The Hipster Handbook. Lanham's writing has appeared in The New York Times, Playboy, Time Out, and Nylon. He's the editor and founder of freewilliamsburg.com (the internet's number one Google search for Janet Jackson's nipple) and works at Foot Locker on the weekends. His bestselling book Cyborgs, Libertarians, and People who like Vin Diesel is now required reading in over 20 school districts in the South. Lanham lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Jeff Bechtel: The Illustrator
Born in the backwaters and backwash of Indiana before relocating to New York, Jeff Bechtel is perpetually contemplating life's tough questions. Why can European magazines can show nudity on their covers when American magazines cannot? Why do ceiling fans stop moving when strobe lights are flashing? And if lemons smell "lemony," why don't oranges smell "orangey." His work has appeared in Guidepost, Better Homes and Gardens, Martha Stewart Living, Playboy, Beef Digest, and "Marmaduke." Bechtel lives, works, and regularly plays canasta with elderly women in Brooklyn. (Original art from Food Court Druids and Hipster Handbook are for sale. Click here to inquire.)

Trevor Hoey: The Art Advisor
Trevor Hoey secured a degree in Idiosyncrological Studies at Newark Community College. He was born in New York City, was raised in the Amish section of Villanova, Pennsylvania, and now lives in Manhattan, as per the request of the ladies. Prior to becoming an Idiosyncrologist, he was a traveling Olestra salesman. He claims to have "a worldly pessimism but a personal cheeriness." He says a lot of weird shit like that though.

Mandy Novak: The Field Researcher
Mandy Novak does it all — documentary filmmaker, faith healer, director of The Last Samurai, and Idiosyncrologist extraordinaire. In her free time, Mandy enjoys quiet walks in the countryside, hanggliding, and off track betting. She lives in Brooklyn, New York with a bulimic cat.
